Ceramic and porcelain artist. She was born in Budapest in 1951. She graduated in 1978 from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts (today: Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) in porcelain design. In 1993, she was a founding member of the DeForma Group. She has worked as a contract designer for Hollóháza Porcelain Factory, Herend Porcelain Manufactory, and Zsolnay Porcelain Manufactory. Her porcelain objects often prioritise the use of geometric shapes over function. Her aim is to represent movement, momentum, pulsation, and repetition, the latter achieved using silk screening. She combines different materials in her sculptures in the spirit of constructivism and deconstruction. Her most important professional distinctions include the István Gádor (2002) and Noémi Ferenczy (2008) Prizes. Her works have been included in numerous Hungarian and international exhibitions and can be found in several public and private collections.
