Porcelain artist. He was born in Bakonypölöske in 1951. In 1982, he graduated in porcelain design, receiving an award for excellence, from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts (today: Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design). He studied under master ceramicist Imre Schrammel. Since 1982, he has been a designer at the Herend Porcelain Manufactory. In 1985, he was a founding member of the Herend Studio. His most important professional distinctions include the B.I.D. International Gold Star for Quality Award (1987); the Gold Circle Award (1988); and an award at the International Ceramics Festival, Mino, Japan (2002). His works have been exhibited in numerous Hungarian and international exhibitions and can be found in several public collections.
