Interior designer and craftsman. Studied at the School of Applied Arts in Vienna, where he attended Josef Hoffmann’s architecture class between 1899 and 1901. After 1900 he was employed by the firm Jakob & Josef Kohn. After the First World War he also designed for Thonet Mundus. The bentwood furniture designed by Siegel and manufactured by J. & J. Kohn was awarded a Grand Prix at the Paris International Exhibition of 1900.
