Viennese factory-owner. His company, which specialized in home furnishing, was located at Wahringerstrasse 28. It produced and distributed reproduction as well as modem furniture. His son, Miksa Schmidt (d.1935) moved to Hungary and became a successful furniture manufacturer and dealer in Budapest.
