Ceramics designer. After studying pottery in Vienna, he attended the master courses for sculptors
given by Josef Breitner and Anton Hanak at the K. K. Kunstgewerbeschule. Between 1907 and 1910
he was employed by Wiener Keramik as workshop manager. Between 1911 and 1914 he was a
professor and manager of the ceramics workshop at the Royal Hungarian School of Applied Arts. He
founded a small factory in Graz in 1920, which produced artistically decorated stoves, ceramics for
buildings and other art objects. Between 1930 and 1934 he was a professor at the Wiener
Kunstgewerbeschule. His works were created in the unique style of the Viennese Secession.
