Sándor Königseggi Prenoszil was a painter, graphic artist, and trade school teacher. He taught at the Mintarajziskola (Model Drawing School) in Budapest and originally made illustrations for the Vasárnapi Újság (Sunday Newspaper) and the periodical Ország-Világ (Country-World). Starting in 1889, he exhibited genre paintings at the Műcsarnok (Kunsthalle) and later at the National Salon.
