Chemist. He graduated from the Budapest University of Technical Sciences. In 1887 he worked at the Herend Porcelain Factory, then became a chemist at the glass factory at Feketeerdő (Bihar county - now: Rumania). Between 1889 and 1893 he was the director of the Herend Porcelain Factory. At the beginning of 1895 he was appointed technical director in Ignác Fischer’s factory, and in the same year he became the director of the Körmöcbánya Porcelain Factory. He was a professor at the Department of Chemistry of the Budapest State College of Industry in 1897. From 1901 until his death he was employed by the Ministry of Commerce as chief industrial superintendent.
