Graduated from the lingerie department at the Royal Hungarian State Industrial School for Women in
1897. She returned to Kiskunhalas in 1902. The creator of the unique and world-famous Halas
lacework technique and manager of the lacemaking workshop there, she became director after the
departure of Árpád Dékáni.
