French sculptor. Following his studies under F. Jouffroy, A. Falguiére and E. Delaplanche, he worked
in Paris. He first exhibited his works at the Paris Salon in 1884, where he won a third-class medal in
1890 and a first-class medal in 1893. In addition to his numerous public sculptures erected at some of
the famous locations and buildings in Paris (one of the fountains of the Champs-Elysées, Grand
Palais, etc.), he also designed small sculptures. In addition, he designed models for the Sevres
porcelain manufactory.
