Ceramic and porcelain sculptor. He was born in Tata in 1955. In 1981, he graduated from the Pécs Teacher Training College as a primary school teacher in drawing and geography, and in 1986 from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts as a secondary school teacher. In 1991-1992, he was a founding member of the TERRA Group. He created figurative sculptures from personal experiences in freely constructed and/or cast forms. He called his narrative ceramics with their unusual moods landscape sculptures. His main professional distinctions include the Gyula Derkovits Fine Arts Scholarship (1990–1993), the Mihály Munkácsy Prize (1996), and awards at the National Ceramics Biennial, Pécs, Hungary (1992, 1994, 1996). His works can be found in several public collections in Hungary and abroad.
