Painter and applied artists. Laura Kriesch graduated in Art Education from the Mintarajziskola college in Budapest in 1900. She married her co-artist Sándor Nagy in 1902, and they settled in Veszprém. In 1907, they moved to a house and studio in the art colony in Gödöllő founded by Kriesch’s brother Aladár Körösfői-Kriesch, where for several years she led the carpet weaving workshop, designed textiles and illustrated storybooks and books for young people.
