Ceramic artist.
She was born in Budapest in 1964.
In 1991, she graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts (today: Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) with a teaching degree in industrial design and drawing in the ceramics department. After, she obtained her master’s degree in the International Ceramics Studio No. IV in Kecskemét.
In 1992 she was a founding member of the Matéria Group.
In 2010 she received a DLA degree from the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design.
She makes autonomous ceramic sculptures. Her latest works are small outdoor sculptures built of small, individually designed, coloured bricks.
Her chief professional distinctions include awards at the National Ceramics Biennial, Pécs, Hungary (1996); the International Triennial of Silicate Art, Kecskemét, Hungary (2005); and Foshan Second Cup International Handmade Tiles Design Competition, Foshan, China (2020). She has also received the Noémi Ferenczy Prize (2007).
Her works can be found in public collections in Hungary and abroad.
