Painter and graphic artist; he worked at the School of Applied Arts in Budapest first as a teacher and
then, after 1927, as director. An outstanding printing expert, he pioneered the development of applied
graphics in Hungary. He designed illustrations, book covers, paper money, stamps and advertisement
material.
