Ceramic artist.
He was born into a family of artists in Budapest in 1949.
He graduated in 1974 from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts (today: Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design), specializing in porcelain under the tutelage of Ferenc Kovács and Imre Schrammel.
In 1981, he was elected a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (AIC-IAC, Geneva). In 1992 he was invited to the Garth Clark Gallery in New York, where he had four solo exhibitions (1994, 1997, 1999, 2001).
In 1991?1992, he was a founding member of the TERRA Group.
Some of his most important professional distinctions include awards at the International Ceramics Biennial, Vallauris, France (1982, 1984); the International Ceramics Competition, Gualdo Tadino, Italy (1990); the International Ceramics Festival, Mino, Japan (1992, 2004); the International Mini Ceramics Triennial, Zagreb, Croatia (1993); National Ceramics Biennial, Pécs, Hungary (1982, 1990, 1992, 1994, 2004, 2008); and the 2nd National Ceramics Quadrennial, Pécs, Hungary (2017). He has also won the István Gádor (1991, 1994) and Noémi Ferenczy (1995) Prizes.
His works can be found in numerous public and private collections in Hungary and abroad.
