Hungarian artist specializing in coins and medals. He studied under Ede Teles, then continued his art education in Vienna; later on, he made several study-tours in Europe. He first exhibited his works in 1902. His first success came in 1903, when he won a silver medal at the Ágoston Trefort small sculptures competition, followed by a gold medal in a competition for invited artists. Of his international achievements, his gold medal at the Milan World Exhibition of 1906 stands out.
