The vase stands on a ringed foot, gradually splaying towards the rounded shoulder line. The round top is rimmed. It is decorated with underwater scenes of floating, transparent red jelly-fish among three light green water lily bushes and tendrils. The colour of the deep water is violet, with golden spots, iridescent with bluish green eozin glaze. The domed, protruding, painted contours were covered with a thick protection coating before acid-etching the glaze surface. Thus, the metallic lustre glitters brightly the covered spots. In Façon book 13 of the Zsolnay factory, there is a remark on No. 8191: "Szabadkézi" (freehand- drawn). There is a design of a vase with similar water lily décor in the archives of the Zsolnay collection in the JPM in Pécs (see Inv.No. A.61.292.30), signed by Lívia Sikorski, dated 1908, number 4.
