The designer of the Art Nouveau style vases studied in Stockholm and in Paris. His works are graceful and lyrically picturesque he completed the serial produced vase bodies with his delicately modelled plastic paintings that he detailed with underglaze pastel colours. Alf Wallander designed for the Swedish porcelain works for nearly twenty years. During his art leadership the Lidköping factory was in its glory.
