Its middle line is decorated with coiling tendrils springing from opposing pomegranates. The tendrils have different acanthus leaves on them. The borders have floral decoration of tulips and pinks, joined with foliage. The variants of the acanthus flower have been collected by Jolán Balogh. This motif was extremely popular in Transylvania. It appears for example on the embroidery cartoons of Julia Rhédey, on the carving of the pulpit in the Calvinist - once Franciscan - Church in Kolozsvár, Farkas Street, and on the tablecloth of Zsuzsanna Lórántffy (Hungarian National Museum).
