A hemispherical bowl with an indented middle. The finial of the conical cover is a silvered Circassian figure. The rims of the bowl and the cover are painted with a lambrequin frieze and lattice, foliage and ribbon ornaments of iron-red and gold. The body is decorated with relief Indian and German floral motifs, painted in iron-red, blue and yellow. The two sides of the bowl show silvered, relief masks. The inside of the bowl is decorated with flowery boughs in iron-red, blue and yellow according to Mrs. Klara Tasnadi—Marik, the inside decoration is a later addition.
