A splayed cylindrical bowl stands on three feet with relief masks it has a square handle on each side. The domed cover has a conical finial.
The outside of the bowl is decorated with figures (couples) in oriental and European clothes, painted with schwarzlot, in a red and golden frame. The middle of the inside surface shows a sitting male figure in shrub-like scenery, painted with schwarzlot. The figure is placed in a round medallion, framed by gold and red. The cover depicts a couple playing music: the man plays the violin, while the woman plays the lute. It is also decorated with a genre scene in front of ruins, in scenery. The protruding, lobed rim of the bowl and the rim of the cover are decorated with gilt lambrequin and lattice motifs.
