Console table with mirror - Bonheur-du-jour

The four splayed, prismatic legs wear bronze shoes they are joined by a curved shelf at the front. There is a drawer in the frieze its panel is decorated with an inlay of a horizontal rectangle shape, and a keyhole shield of garland motifs in the middle. The inlay is enframed by gilt strap- work. The rectangular top shows a double field of copper filet inlays, with a narrow superstructure behind: three small drawers support a fluted column of bronze decoration on each side the protruding marble top rests on the columns. Three edges of the marble top are decorated with a low, pierced rim of figures. The mirror and frame are placed between the columns, forming a horizontal rectangle.
