The inside of the rim is lined with enamel-painted green leaves and scrolling tendrils, enframed by red and gold, and boughs with green leaves, enframed with gold and partly with red. The handle forms a snake. The saucer has a narrow rim the border is decorated with golden tendrils enframed with red. The surface show a female figure sitting among furniture, holding a fan in her left and a paper scroll in her right, with two rabbits and two children are playing in front of her on the ground. The bottom shows four scattered, flowery boughs painted in blue and framed with black. The inscription Herend appears pressed in the middle, together with the Hungarian coat of arms painted in blue.
