The cylindrical body stands on a short, silver-gilt foot with a protruding rim, decorated with rows of lines, waves and dots. The flat lid is slightly domed, lined with lattice, foliage and ribbon motifs it has a tumbler, decorated with acanthus leaves. The body has a chinoiserie scene, painted in brown-shaded schwarzlot, outlined with gilding: imaginary birds and a Chinese figure standing in front of a lattice fence. In the middle of the silver- gilt lid, is a medal, produced by Carl Josef Hoffmann on the occasion of the foundation of the fortress at Gyulafehervar. The medal is dated 1715.
