The narrowing cylindrical bowl is decorated with triple rings on the base and neck, and shows three recurring scenes in a horizontal arrangement. The top one shows the sacrifice of Isaac, the bottom one Noah with his sons, both scenes framed by circles. In the middle is a soldier with a sword in an oval frame, bearing the inscription JOSVA, and the initials PK in the right-hand bottom corner. One of the scenes in the upper line is replaced by a coat of arms: a baroque escutcheon with a one-handled jug, and three roses with five petals springing from them. Above the jug are the initials M.W., and the date 1568 appears either side of the arms. The jug of flowers in the coat of arms is probably the mark of the master. The initial M.W. is yet unidentified.
