The fluted, deep bowl, with a boss in the middle, stands on a short, curving base. The exterior has a relief decoration: palmettes, surmounted by masks on the base. On the interior are stylized flowers, foliage, and an amoretto playing the bagpipes on the middle boss. A similar piece, a well-known bowl on a base, with a flying amoretto in the middle, is in the Kunstgewerbe Museum der Stadt Köln another is in the collection of the Herzog Anton Ulrich Museum of Braunschweig.
