Anchor escapement with elaborate trains. The front has one dial, and the back has two, each with one arm. The square prismatic case is decorated with architectural sections and balustrades surmounted by a cast figure of a knight in helmet, holding a shield and a spear, on the top of a cupola. The lower dial of the back shows the maker's sign: Nicolaus Rugend, Augsburg.
