The four legs are joined by plain stretchers on the sides and across the width the front stretcher is a carved cartouche. The seat is trapezoid. The square-shaped back support is inlaid with dark foliage on a light base. The back support and the seat are further enriched by a carved ornament under them. Companion pieces can be found in the Lanz Collection in Amsterdam and in a private collection in Austria.
