On the exterior of one of the shorter sides a monogram M. S. is engraved on the other one a monogram G. B. L. The master's mark is near to one of the handles, on the exterior rim. There is no city mark. It is a work of good quality, and so must have been made after Sebestyen Hann had got his mastership, that is after 1675. Since from this date until his death in 1713 he was active in Nagyszeoen this object must have been made there. Earlier the master had worked in Locse.
