The bearded male figure stands on an irregular polygonal base, wearing a richly pleated cloak. On his left thigh is a gash, his hands are clasped in prayer, his head is turned to the right. Next to his left leg is his attribute: a dog with a loaf of bread in its mouth. St. Roch was regarded in the baroque period as the patron saint protecting people against illnesses and plague, the representation refers also to this.
