A tailor, sitting on a goat, holds a pair of scissors in his raised right hand, and the rein in his left. There are two kids in the butt on his back. The greyish-white goat carries a tailor's iron in its mouth. The tailor wears an elegant dress, decorated with flowers, and a hat with a broad rim. His iron-grey hair hangs below the hat, to the shoulders. The elaborate, slightly reserved statuette creates a special atmosphere of humour. Marked on the bottom, under glaze, with the blue mark of the Meissen Porcelain Works. Scratched into the mould: 171, impressed: 85.
