A young man, standing in front of a rock, with a "mente", braided with fox fur, on his left shoulder. His pelisse is decorated with golden braids like his trousers, it is light violet. His sword-belt and boots are yellow there is a green flap on his fur cap. This is a 1770 remoulding of a finely modelled, elaborate piece of 1750, designed by Johann Josef Niedermeyer. The painting of the contemporary (Maria Theresian) clothes is very precise and accurate. Marked on the bottom with a blue shield under glaze, and a red painters' number: 13 / Franz Bernhardt (?).
