Statue

The woman stands on a rectangular base with moulded sides her figure is stooping, her hands are stretched out, the child is bound to her back. Her thigh and breast are left uncovered by her ragged cloths carved in wood. She wears a hat. The naturalistic figure made from a combination of wood and ivory has several analogous copies in the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum, Munich, and in the Tiroler Landesmuseum, Innsbruck, and in other larger public collections.
