The head of Christ falls onto his left arm, his eyes are fixed on the sky, and his mouth is open. He has a crown of thorns on his head. His loin-cloth, held by a twisted wire, has slipped down. The expressionist modelling of the angular male figure shows that the master must have been an excellent artist.
