Standing cup with cover

The stem is a male statue standing on a quatrefoiled foot. It has a four-segmented cup, its surface — like that of the foot — is richly decorated with set precious stones. Four oval-shaped rock-crystal intaglios formerly decorated the surface of the cup, but these were destroyed. The cover has a cast decoration of war trophies. The majority of the set stones are ground beads under- foiled a minority of them — twenty pieces — are cut precious stones. Their types are: emerald, topaz, ruby. The majority of the former ones were added in the course of restoration.
