The painting shows a detail from the Annunciation. Archangel Gabriel raises his right hand blessing, and holds a vase of lilies in his left. There is an inscription under the scene: AVE GRATIA.PLENA.DOMINVS.TECUM. Possibly a fragment from a church window.
