The two front legs of the sofa are turned, the back ones are plain, prismatic. The seat rail is decorated with zigzag lines and a carved fan at the bottom middle and on the two sides. The horizontal arm rests are supported by a trellis of balusters. The vertical back support is divided into three square- shaped segments enframed by zigzag motifs and a trellis of lathe-turned balusters (Mashrabiyya work). The top cresting is also divided into three identical sections.

The armchair is one-part variation of the sofa its details are identical with those of the sofa.

The pieces were made for western export, decorated with oriental motifs.
