The figure, playing the trumpet, sits on a three-legged, pierce chair. He has a bulging body, with almond-shaped decoration on his body. The top of the large, bow collar is detachable the head and the hat join the collar with a spring that is adjustable. This object is a historicizing version of funny eighteenth century objects of virtue.
