Agnes, a paperporcelain relief represents the autonomous, fine art works of Júlia Néma. The ceramist combined the material beauty of porcelain and the complex cultural layers of the topic (Mistress Agnes, a ballad of János Arany) which is emphasized by the purity of material and idea and the simple, geometric design.

The abstract, geometric transcript of a text-based topic and its narrative effects were also a conscious creative method in other series of Júlia Néma, titled Twelve Masons, Stations of the Cross and The Box Man.
