The middle line is decorated with foliage of large serrated acanthus leaves with a pomegranate in each curve. The leaves are further enriched with tulips and radial rosettes. The two outer borders are with rows of pomegranates above two lobed leaves. This piece is a representative of a highly stylized and richly decorated type of domestic embroidery.
