The large spherical bowl stands on an added base, and ends in a narrow cornet neck and an added upper rim. The surface is decorated with six horizontal lines of various motifs. On the neck and above the base is a "St. Bernard's-rays" motif on the circumference and on the top are sticks intertwined with leaves and stylized floral tendrils, zigzag lines of spindles with triangles between them, and shaded wavy lines. All the motifs are painted in blue and ochre on an ivory-coloured base. The lower field of the St. Bernard motif bears an inscription in Gothic minuscules: aq/u/a . de. ruta (a name of a medicine).
