Oval shaped bowl, with embossed stylized foliage and bunches of fruits and a wavy edge. In the interior is a representation of Jove (Jupiter) disguised as Diana seducing the Nymph Callisto. The source of this mythological theme is Ovid's Metamorphoses, II. 409—440. The composition follows that of the painting by Rubens having a similar theme (1613, Kassel, Gemäldegalerie).
