The padlock is curved at the top and bottom but straight on the two sides at the bottom, there is a twistable ball, surmounted by a hinged, semicircular keyhole shield with repousse leaves and tulips. The middle part is decorated with a repousse vase of spear leaves and a rosette. The sides are enriched with a tendril, rosettes and leaves. Above them, there is a broken, semicircular corniche with leaves and clusters of grapes. The padlock is topped with a circular slot with a hook, signed with an inscription in cursives. The narrower sides are equipped with rectangular volutes with shell motifs. At the back, there is a dial of a clock, with Roman numerals and brass arms, enclosed by twelve small rosettes.
