Venus leans against a tree-trunk emerging from the rocaille base she embraces Amor, who is kneeling on his right knee. Marked with a blue shield under glaze. The statuette is an elaborately modelled, typical white-glazed example of the rococo period in the Vienna Porcelain Works.
