The body of the jug is divided into four sections, ending in a long neck and a splaying top rim. There is a ring at the juncture of the body and the neck. The body and the stopper are painted with wild rose boughs in pink, brown and green transparent enamel. The whole surface of the object is slightly iridescent. The shape follows Venetian blown glass traditions the decoration shows a special combination of Neo-Rococo and Art Nouveau motifs. The carafe and stopper with Inv.No. 862 and the stemmed cup with Inv.No. 863 of this collection have a similar decoration.
