The spherical bowl stands on a base with a tin rim. The short, broadening neck bears one of the ends of the curving handle the other end sticks to the bowl. The upper rim is set in tin the turning knob of the tin cover is decorated with a pearled palmette. Painted in blue, green, yellow, contoured and shaded in manganese against a white background. The belly has a double blue line, enclosing foliage and flowers. The neck is decorated with a yellow line between two blue ones. The top shows a monogram H.D.B, and the date 1615 between the blue lines.
