The domed, round foot is jointed and engraved. The stem is lined with rings of chased flowers against a punched base. The slightly splayed body springs from the stem it is ribbed at the bottom and plain at the top, with a line of small circles at the shoulder line. The wooden question- mark shaped handle is joined to the narrowing neck with a circle, decorated with rosettes. The spout is chiselled and punched with leaves at the bottom, ending in the repousse head of a dog. The lid is jointed, with a cast floral wreath below the black wooden finial. Marked with town and maker's mark beside the handle, on the neck.
