The writing table stands on four square-tapered legs equipped with rolls. The back corners of the rectangular top are rounded the frieze conceals three drawers. The middle of the top can be lifted, with drawers and a doored compartment at the back. The superstructure follows the D-shape of the back part, decorated with mounted lattice rims. The first model was probably made in 1796, for Prince Regent's Carlton House in London - hence its name. This piece was made in the manner of the Gillow brothers.
