Folded leather sides between two lying, rectangles covered with green leather. The curved rim of the back bends over to the front one, and closes with a metal lock in the middle. The two plates of the back are decorated with motifs blocked in blind, a la cathedrale style. The surface is bordered by a line of flowers in circles, enclosed with a double line. The corners of the lines are enriched with rosettes in squares and columned ogees. The central field shows a pattern of compartments, towers , rosettes and other Gothic ornaments. The inside of the bag is divided by a paper plate the inner compartment has a leather purse of folding top, with blocked-in-blind decoration: a scrolling, leafy pattern in a meander frame and a circle of ray motifs in the centre. The folded side plates used to be gathered with a green silk ribbon. There is a handwritten inscription on the light green paper lining of the inside: Kassa 1832 /sóvári/ Soós Ágoston.
