The long, cartouche-shaped tray stands on a short, round foot, decorated with shells, acanthus leaves and rocailles, and, in the centre, with a flowery leafy lattice pattern against the yellow and blue background. The round ink well springs from the centre it has a folding top, equipped with a rising, acanthus leaf tumbler. There are relief cupids lying at both ends of the tray.
This representative, elaborate Neo-Renaissance object renews the typical process of the Limoges enamel technique.
