Hexagonal shape of six sides, convex top, and a tin-set upper rim. The screwed pewter lid is marked. The sides are decorated with alternating motifs of stylized flower stems and sketches of castles. These sketches are thought by Imre Katona to have been made after the castle at Sárospatak. (cf. Katona) The top has stylized leaf decoration. Painted in blue, manganese, green and yellow, the sketches in manganese, on a white background.
